Three days. Over 60,000 visitors. More than 700 startups from around the world. And one Italian AI platform standing at the center of it all — Lunocode.

SuShi Tech Tokyo 2026 is now behind us, and we are still processing everything we experienced at Tokyo Big Sight from April 27 to 29. It was one of the most intense, inspiring, and rewarding chapters in Moonify’s journey, and we want to share every part of it with you.

Setting up in Tokyo

The Lunocode booth at Tokyo Big Sight , our home for three days of conversations, demos, and connections with an international audience.

When we arrived at Tokyo Big Sight and set up our booth, the reality of the moment hit us. We were surrounded by some of the most innovative startups in the world, in one of the most demanding markets on the planet, and we were there representing Italy’s approach to the future of digital visibility.

The booth drew consistent attention throughout the event. Visitors stopped to understand what Generative Engine Optimization , actually means, and why it matters for any brand that wants to be found not just on Google, but inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude, and every other AI system that is now reshaping how people search for information.

The conversations were sharp, the curiosity was real, and the interest from potential partners and enterprise clients exceeded our expectations.

On the main stage

Dario De Micheli, Moonify Co-Founder, presented Lunocode’s vision live on stage at SuShi Tech Tokyo 2026.

One of the standout moments of the entire event was our presentation on the main stage. With the screen behind him reading “Democratizing the Future of Organic Search,” Dario De Micheli addressed a packed audience of investors, enterprise clients, and global innovators.

He laid out the shift that is already happening: AI systems have become the primary interface between people and information. The old playbook, rank on Google, drive traffic, is no longer enough. Brands today need to become sources that AI trusts and cites. That is the problem Lunocode was built to solve.

The presentation landed. The questions from the audience were engaged and specific, exactly the kind of dialogue you hope for when you take a stage like that.

“Your website shouldn’t just rank. It should become a source.” Dario De Micheli, Moonify

The people we met

Part of the Italian innovation and startup delegation at SuShi Tech Tokyo 2026 ,founders, investors, diplomats, and technology leaders gathered together.

Beyond the booth and the stage, the most meaningful part of SuShi Tech Tokyo 2026 was the people.

We were proud to be part of the Italian delegation, a remarkable group of founders, entrepreneurs, and institutions brought together under the Global Startup Program by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE). Meeting this community of Italian innovators, all working to make their mark internationally, was genuinely energizing.

We also had 10,000+ business meetings taking place across the event, and we made the most of that environment. We sat down with potential partners, had serious conversations with enterprise clients from Japan and beyond, and connected with fellow AI companies exploring the same frontier we are.

Japan challenged us in the best way. The market is rigorous, the questions are precise, and the standard expected of any company entering this space is high. We left those conversations more focused and more motivated than when we arrived.

What we are taking home

SuShi Tech Tokyo 2026 confirmed something we already believed but needed to prove on a global stage: the problem Lunocode solves is real, urgent, and universal.

Every brand, regardless of industry or geography, faces the same challenge. The way people discover and trust information has changed. AI is the new search. And the companies that understand this now will be the ones that dominate visibility over the next decade.

We came to Tokyo as an Italian startup making its first serious move into the Japanese market. We left with new relationships, new conversations in progress, and a much clearer picture of how Lunocode fits into the global landscape of AI-driven innovation.

The work continues. The next chapters are already being written.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, attended our presentation, or took the time to meet with us at SuShi Tech Tokyo 2026. If you want to learn more about Lunocode and what it can do for your brand’s visibility in the age of AI, we would love to continue the conversation.
