1. Google search

  • Start your Google search.
  • Note that the first result may be generated by AI Overview .

2. Clean view

  • Click ‘Web’ to get a clean view of the results.

3. Add ‘-noai’ to the query

  • Try adding the term ‘-noai’ to your query to filter your results.

4. Query test

  • Run a test with the query ‘difference between ketogenic diet and paleolithic diet’ by adding ‘-noai’.

5. Browser settings

  • Open your browser settings (Brave or Chrome).
  • Click on ‘Search Engine’.

6. Manage search engines

  • Go to the search engine list and look for the ‘Search Sites’ option.

7. Add a new search engine

  • Click ‘Add’.
  • Enter a name
  • Shortcut: https://google.com/
  • URL with %s in place of the query: {google:baseURL}/search?udm=14&q=%s

8. Save and set default

  • Click ‘Save’.
  • Click on the three dots on the side and select ‘Set as default’.

9. Final test

  • Run queries to verify that the results do not show AI Overview.
