This procedure describes the steps to remove the AI Overview feature from Google search results and set the default view to the web.

Key steps
1. Google search
- Start your Google search.
- Note that the first result may be generated by AI Overview .
2. Clean view
- Click ‘Web’ to get a clean view of the results.
3. Add ‘-noai’ to the query
- Try adding the term ‘-noai’ to your query to filter your results.
4. Query test
- Run a test with the query ‘difference between ketogenic diet and paleolithic diet’ by adding ‘-noai’.
5. Browser settings
- Open your browser settings (Brave or Chrome).
- Click on ‘Search Engine’.
6. Manage search engines
- Go to the search engine list and look for the ‘Search Sites’ option.
7. Add a new search engine
- Click ‘Add’.
- Enter a name
- Shortcut: https://google.com/
- URL with %s in place of the query: {google:baseURL}/search?udm=14&q=%s
8. Save and set default
- Click ‘Save’.
- Click on the three dots on the side and select ‘Set as default’.
9. Final test
- Run queries to verify that the results do not show AI Overview.
